A global energy services company located in Macaé, Brazil, is seeking an entry-level technician to service and maintain electrical logging equipment. Candidates should have an associate degree in electronics and be eager to learn through on-the-job training. This role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency within the team.
Qualifications
- Entry-level role requiring basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Trains under experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge.
- Familiarity with maintenance and logging equipment is essential.
Responsabilités
- Services and maintains logging equipment under supervision.
- Troubleshoots issues with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Prepares for further training in formal maintenance school.
Connaissances
Formation
Under strict supervision, services, troubleshoots, repairs and/or replaces, aligns, and maintains electrical and mechanical logging equipment as directed. Requires familiarization with surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected. Skills are typically acquired through and associate degree in electronics or related electrical experience. Trains directly under a Principal or Senior Logging and Perforating Technician, to gain knowledge of logging equipment and tools, in preparation for formal maintenance school training.
