About the role
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide technical support for infrastructure system solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability of critical systems. You will serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, diagnosing technical issues, implementing effective solutions, and supporting service delivery improvements. This position plays a vital role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring the operational excellence of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- 1. Provide first-line and second-line technical support to clients using various infrastructure equipment and systems.
- 2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- 3. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all support cases, including troubleshooting steps, actions taken, and final resolutions.
- 4. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver appropriate and effective support solutions.
- 5. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior engineers or relevant technical teams when required.
- 6. Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new infrastructure systems and equipment.
- 7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What we're looking for
- 1. Possess a recognised technical qualification or certification relevant to the field of specialisation (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related trades).
- 2. Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, preferably within data centres, facilities management, or industrial services environments.
- 3. Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting methodologies is preferred.
- 4. Proficient in the use of diagnostic and testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related electrical tools.
- 5. Experience with industrial control systems, power distribution systems, or data centre infrastructure will be highly advantageous.
- 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to fault identification and resolution.
- 7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- 8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- 9. Able to perform hands‑on technical work, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights when required.
- 10. Possess a valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites within Singapore.
- 11. Flexible and willing to support after office hours work or emergency call‑outs when necessary.
