Jobtailor in Rio de Janeiro is seeking a proactive student to support supplier monitoring, data analysis, and process improvements across the garment production chain. You will assist with evaluating quality, lead times, and supplier performance while supporting the rollout of tools and training for new suppliers.

Your role includes mapping processes, preparing manuals and reports, and engaging with suppliers and investors to communicate initiatives and progress.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing a degree in Production Engineering with emphasis on Garment Manufacturing, Business Administration, Fashion, or related field.
• Interest in garment manufacturing industry, fashion, and the production chain.
• Knowledge of Canva and advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track deadlines.
• Comfortable working with data and performance indicators.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support supplier monitoring and development.
• Assist with analyzing quality, lead time, productivity, and supplier performance indicators.
• Support the follow-up of action plans and improvements agreed with suppliers.
• Assist with process mapping and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support the implementation of management and quality tools, such as checklists, 5W2H, action plans, Ishikawa diagrams, and performance indicators.
• Assist with identifying and analyzing nonconformities, rework, and recurring quality issues.
• Support training, capability-building, and onboarding activities for new suppliers.
• Assist with preparing and updating manuals, procedures, presentations, and guidance materials for the production chain.
• Monitor schedules, outstanding items, and deadlines for supplier development projects.
• Consolidate information and assist with preparing management reports and presentations.
• Support projects related to quality improvement, production efficiency, and sustainability across the supplier chain.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to follow up on information, documents, action plans, and ongoing activities.
• Develop approaches for engagement with the production chain.
• Assist in designing the onboarding stages for new suppliers.
• Lead and assist in developing supplier policies, manuals, and procedures related to Soma's internal processes
• Assist with preparing reports
• Manage the Group's supplier communications email account
• Promote the communication of initiatives to the market and investors
• Assist in developing internal and external communication platforms for suppliers and investors
• Support initiatives under the Conecta+, Productive Linkages, and Supplier Convention programs
