About the role
This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture, driving strategic HR initiatives, and supporting the growth and development of our workforce. As a Senior HR Executive, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development, whilst ensuring compliance with local employment legislation. Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding to build and maintain a talented workforce
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programmes that align with company strategy and employment law requirements
- Provide strategic HR advisory support to line managers and senior leadership on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development matters
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development planning
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities to foster a positive workplace environment
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and terminations in accordance with relevant legislation
- Administer compensation and benefits programmes, including payroll liaison and benefits administration
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data protection compliance and confidentiality
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning and development programmes for staff
- Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives to address future organisational needs
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or consulting HR role within a mid to large-sized organisation
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements within Singapore or the region
- Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all organisational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop strategic HR solutions
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and confidentiality, coupled with sound business acumen and commercial awareness
- SHRM or CIPD certification, or equivalent professional HR qualification is preferred
- Experience in a consulting or advisory capacity would be advantageous
