Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with 5–8 years in New Product Industrialization of electro-mechanical products.
• Experience in 2D and 3D CAD drawings for assembly and parts.
• Knowledge of injection molding, die-casting, precision machining, coatings and inspection methods.
• Experience in jig and fixture development for assembly and its validation.
• Experience in root cause analysis using quality tools.
• Experience in TSA/DFX/DFMEA/FEA/DOE.
• Familiar with GD&T in drawings and standard design process documentation.
• Knowledge of BOM structuring and Engineering Change Management.

Responsabilidades

We’re looking to add a Senior Engineer, ProductinSingapore.

As a Senior Engineer, Product, you will:

NPI Phase:

• Facilitate Product Transfer from Development phase to Manufacturing phase by ensuring all deliverables (checklist) of Design and Manufacturing are successfully accomplished meeting Manufacturing targets
• DFM Review to ensure manufacturability of the product, meeting the manufacturing targets and feedback DFM improvements to R&D team.
• PFMEA Review of Manufacturing and Test processes to identify potential failure modes and propose improvements to NPI team.
• Verify the Design is Validated to comply with Regulatory Requirements and to meet the Reliability specifications.
• Review of Open Product Issues to ensure short term containment actions or mitigations in place to start the production ramp up and ensure Plan of actions available to resolve them permanently

Sustaining Phase:

• Perform in-depth Failure Analysis to trace the root cause of the Product failures, trouble shoot product /production issues and drive to implement permanent solutions to meet or exceed the production Yield and Customer Quality Targets of the shipped products
• Perform Design Analysis including Tolerance Stack UpAnalysisto identify design related root causes and improve the design to resolve the issue.
• BOM preparation/update, Create/update Engineering documentations including changes to 2D & 3D drawings
• Plan, co-ordinate and lead to implement actions required to evaluate and qualify engineering changes to product and changes to materials or its manufacturing processes prior to implementation in mass production, which includes proposal of Qualification/Validation plan and execution.
• Plan and assist to execute Prototype builds or Engineering Evaluation builds to validate engineering changes at production line.
• Product critical performance parameters monitoring to detect any drift in manufacturing process early to take corrective actions.
• Study and improve product performance through continuous design and process improvements
• Perform VAVE driven Cost Reduction activities to meet organization goals
• Jigs/fixture design and validation for changes/process improvements
• Provide coaching and guidance to lower-level Product Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on all product and process Engineering tasks
• Engage customer professionally on updating all issues and changes to product and processes for approvals

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, with 5-8 years of experience in New Product Industrialization activities of electro mechanical products, by coordinating with R&D Design Team, Customer and Manufacturing team
• Experience in 2D and 3D CAD (drawings) of assembly and parts
• Knowledge in Part Manufacturing technologies such as Injection Molding, Die-Casting, Precision Machining, surface coating/finishing and Inspection methods
• Experience in Jig & fixture development for Assembly and its validation
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis with the use of Quality tools
• Experience in design analysis tools such as TSA, DFX, DFMEA, FEA, DOE
• Familiar with Design Tools such 3D/2D CAD and application of GD&T in drawings.
• Familiar Quality tools and techniques (Control Charts, Pareto Charts, cause and effect etc)
• Well versed with standard design process documentations and familiar with ISO9001 and ISO13485 standards
• Independently able to perform Design Analysis such as TSA, DFX, DFMEA, FEA
• Familiar with BOM structuring, Engineering Change Process Management, Yield reporting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Report preparation etc.
