PERSOL is seeking an Electrical/Computer Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on lab testing experience to develop in-process tests for Mass Spectrometry modules. You will create test code in LabVIEW, CVI and C++, ensure PCBA testability for VAVE projects, and collaborate with suppliers to validate test hardware and fixtures.

Responsibilities include analysis of failure data, fixture upgrades, budget planning for ICT/FCT, and onsite CM support during launches.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of signal analysis and signal processing.
• Hands-on test lab experience configuring lab equipment for testing.
• Experience in design collaboration with suppliers.
• Proven project management capability.
• Good track record of test programs or firmware development using LabVIEW, CVI and C++.
• Familiar with statistics tools for problem solving.
• Familiar with PC interfacing (e.g. RS-232, USB, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN/SPI).

• Familiar with test and measurement calibration concepts.
• Work may be performed in house or at suppliers for new test hardware or software.
• Provide onsite support for CM launches of new fixtures and tools.
• Review failure data and improve test coverage via fixture upgrades.
• Prepare ICT/FCT fixtures maintenance budgets.
• Provide technical support and maintenance plans to meet On Time Delivery.
• Test software and hardware development to improve PCBA test coverage.
• Other duties/ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Our client delivers solutions for precision detection and quantification of molecules to help protect and advance the wellness and safety of all.

Duration: 6 months (Renewable)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday; 9am – 6pm
Working Location: Marsiling

Responsibilities

• Develop new in process functional tests to aid in debug and diagnosis of various functional modules within a Mass Spec instrument. Developed solutions will be used to perform fault isolation for faulty or intermittent modules.

• Learn and understand test requirements and test methodologies for various functional modules. Develop test code using Labview, CVI or C++ for Value Engineering projects to characterize, verify and validate the design.

• Ensure PCBA module testability through development, qualification and release to manufacturing for VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering) projects.

• Propose VAVE opportunities related to test cycle time reduction or enhancement.

• Provide support to sustaining projects through analysis of part failures leading to root cause diagnosis & test flow improvement.

• Work with suppliers to ensure test codes and hardware meet requirements needed to verify and validate new modules.

• Familiar with tester & fixture qualification

• Familiar with test & measurement calibration concept & hands on.

• Work may be performed in house or at suppliers for new test hardware or software required for new products or VAVE projects.

• Work with the Manufacturing Test group in Concord during development projects to provide support for transfer of test hardware to contract manufacturers

• Provide onsite support for CM's during launch of new fixtures and tools during pre-qualification stage

• Review failure data, improve coverage through fixture upgrade or redesign/Review First Pass Yield data from suppliers, analyze ‘no fault found’ modules and perform root cause analysis to upgrade tests

• Work with CM to prepare ICT /FCT fixtures maintenance budget.

• Provide technical support, review test fixtures maintenance plan for health status to meet On Time Delivery target.

• Test software and hardware development to improve PCBA test coverage.

• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of signal analysis & signal processing

• Experience in design collaboration with suppliers

• Possess strong Project Management capability

• Good track record of successful test program or firmware development using Labview, CVI and C++.
