Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor or related fields, with hands-on manufacturing exposure, basic documentation skills and proficiency in MS Office. A motivated team player will thrive in a dynamic environment.

Our client is a leading semiconductor equipment and advanced manufacturing solutions provider, supporting the development and production of precision equipment used across the electronics and semiconductor industries. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to support production, engineering builds, process improvement and new product introduction activities. They are located in the North Singapore - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day manufacturing activities and troubleshoot basic process or production issues on the shop floor.

• Perform checks on production equipment, tooling, fixtures and processes to ensure manufacturing readiness and stable operations.

• Support engineering builds, product trials, prototype assembly, NPI activities and product transfer projects.

• Collect and maintain production, process and equipment data for engineering analysis and improvement activities.

• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with root cause investigation, troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions.

• Support engineering change implementation and ensure relevant work instructions, process documents and manufacturing records are updated.

• Prepare and maintain work instructions, checklists, process records, production reports and other manufacturing documentation.

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to support production and manufacturing objectives.

• Follow established quality, safety, manufacturing and company procedures during all production and engineering activities.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related disciplines.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, automation or manufacturing environments.

• Hands-on experience supporting production, engineering builds, NPI, process improvement or manufacturing activities.

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical documentation and root cause troubleshooting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to ERP/MRP, MES, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SPC, PFMEA or corrective action processes will be an advantage.
