Jobtailor seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to operate and scale production environments. You will manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and on‑prem infrastructure while maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI and ArgoCD.

You’ll implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry, perform incident analyses, and support Python/Django backends and React/TypeScript frontends within a DevOps framework. Proficiency in security and secrets management is essential.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, IS, or related field.
Proven experience in DevOps environments, application infrastructure, or production systems support.
Extensive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI, and GitOps using ArgoCD.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry/Tempo.
Knowledge of Linux, networking, VMs, on‑prem environments, and troubleshooting distributed applications.
Knowledge of application, container, API, and Kubernetes security.
Knowledge of relational databases and platform components (SQL Server, Redis, RabbitMQ).
Experience with Git version control and configuration management.
Preferred: Ansible, Helm, IaC tools; Preferred: SonarQube, SAST, Trivy, Kyverno security policies.
Preferred: Vault, OpenBao or equivalent secrets management; Preferred: LDAP/AD for auth.
Preferred: High availability, business continuity, disaster recovery; Preferred: REST APIs, CSV/XML, or proprietary protocols.

Responsabilidades

Operate, support, and enhance production application environments focusing on availability, performance, security, and resilience.
Administer on‑prem Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, VMs, and network components.
Operate, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, with GitOps via ArgoCD.
Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry/Tempo.
Diagnose and resolve production incidents with root‑cause analyses and action plans.
Provide backend support (Python/Django) and frontend support (React/TypeScript) with DevOps integration.
Apply DevSecOps practices including static code analysis and container vulnerability scanning.
Administer authentication and secrets management (LDAP/AD, Vault, OpenBao).
Document architectures, procedures, configurations, standards, and contingency plans.
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to align priorities, risks, and enhancements.
Monitor metrics and present analyses and recommendations to leadership.

Operate, support, and enhance production application environments, focusing on availability, performance, security, and resilience
Administer on-premises Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, virtual machines, and network components associated with the solutions
Operate, maintain, and improve continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitLab CI, along with GitOps practices using ArgoCD
Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry/Tempo
Diagnose and resolve production incidents, conducting root cause analyses and tracking preventive and corrective action plans
Provide technical support for the analysis, maintenance, and evolution of backend components in Python/Django and frontend components in React/TypeScript, ensuring proper integration with the DevOps platform
Apply DevSecOps practices, including static code analysis, container vulnerability scanning, and Kubernetes security policies
Administer corporate authentication and secrets management mechanisms, including integrations with LDAP/Active Directory and solutions such as Vault or OpenBao
Document architectures, operational procedures, configurations, technical standards, and contingency plans
Collaborate with internal teams, users, and technical partners to align priorities, risks, changes, and enhancement needs
Monitor operational metrics and present analyses, risks, and recommendations for environmental improvements to leadership

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience in DevOps environments, application infrastructure, or production systems support

Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI, and knowledge of GitOps using ArgoCD
