Job summary

Attrus, a global payment solutions provider, is hiring in Brazil for an accounting professional hybrid in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, with remote options for other regions. You will manage monthly entries, tax calculations, intercompany consolidation, and support audits, leveraging Excel and ERP systems.

You will work with a proactive team, face tight deadlines, and contribute to optimized routines using tools and new ideas, while maintaining strong English skills for global coordination.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in accounting closing routines, reconciliations, and tax calculations.
• Advanced English (will be tested during the process).
• Hands-on profile with strong analytical capacity and organization to meet strict deadlines.
• Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council).

Responsibilities

• Monthly accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Calculate and verify taxes: ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRRF, INSS, FGTS, IOF, and net income under Lucro Real.
• Submit ancillary obligations: ECD, ECF, e-Financeira.
• Reconcile fixed-income investments and monthly accruals of benefits.
• Control intercompany balances and accounting consolidation across countries.
• Foreign exchange conversions and multi-currency reporting.
• Support audits and routines with fiscal BPO.

Job Description:

We are looking for an analytical, collaborative, and proactive professional to join our accounting team. We are seeking someone who enjoys problem-solving, working as part of a team with openness to feedback, and contributing to organized and efficient processes. Responsibilities:

• Monthly accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing;


• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements;


• Calculate and verify taxes: ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRRF, INSS, FGTS, IOF, and net income calculation under the Actual Profit (Lucro Real) regime;


• Submission of ancillary obligations: ECD, ECF, e-Financeira;


• Reconciliation of fixed-income investments and monthly accrual of benefits;


• Control of intercompany balances and accounting consolidation of the group across different countries;


• Foreign exchange conversions and support in the preparation of multi-currency combined financial reports;


• Act in the management, support, review, and tracking of external audits and routines with the fiscal BPO.

Requirements:

• Solid previous experience in accounting closing routines, reconciliations, and tax calculations;


• Advanced mastery of Excel;


• Prior knowledge of accounting/tax ERPs;


• Advanced English (will be tested during the process);


• Hands-on profile, with strong analytical capacity and organization to meet strict deadlines;


• Active professional registry with the CRC (Regional Accounting Council).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with multi-currencies (Euro and US Dollar);


• Knowledge of COSIF (Standard Accounting Plan for Institutions of the National Financial System) and reporting to the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB).
