HONSEI BUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, tendering, and contractual matters on construction projects. You will evaluate bids, prepare estimates, and monitor budgets while liaising with clients and subcontractors to protect profitability.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, meticulous costing, and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
• Familiarity with tendering, contract administration, cost control, progress claims, and final accounts.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, BQs, cost estimates, budgets, and related documentation.
• Evaluate quotations, conduct cost analysis, and recommend suitable suppliers/subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout project execution.
• Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Assess and certify subcontractors' and suppliers' payment claims.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, claims, variations, and contracts.
• Negotiate subcontract agreements, variation claims, and account settlements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with tendering procedures, contract administration, cost control, progress claims, and final account settlement.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, measurement standards, and quantity take-off practices.
• Proficient n Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with QS software will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness.
