Talent Trader Group in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager to support renovation and interior fit-out projects. You will handle tender preparation, cost estimation, procurement coordination, variation management, and progress claims in line with contract terms.

You will work with Project Managers, Procurement, and the Business Development team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1–2 years for Junior QS or 3–4 years for Senior QS/Contracts Manager in Singapore renovation and interior fit-out.
• Experience in interior design (ID) and joinery works preferred.
• Good technical understanding of joinery detailing, renovation and interior fit-out works in Singapore is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions based on project requirements, client budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct market, competitor, and industry cost analysis and update Schedule of Rates (SOR).
• Follow up with clients on tender status and maintain quotation/tender pipeline.
• Collaborate with Business Development and QS teams to pursue suitable tender opportunities.
• Prepare and submit Material Purchase Requisitions through the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Procurement to align purchases with budgets and schedules.
• Liaise with insurance companies on project coverage and procurement matters.
• Monitor design changes, scope variations and Variation Orders (VOs).
• Prepare progress claims and billing in line with contractual terms.
• Support project close-out with proper documentation and billing.

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager to support our renovation and interior fit-out projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for tender preparation, cost estimation and control, procurement coordination, variation management, progress claims, and project close-out. You will work closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Business Development, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within budget and according to schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions based on project requirements, client budgets, and timelines
• Conduct market, competitor, and industry cost analysis and regularly review and update the company's Schedule of Rates (SOR)
• Follow up with clients on tender status and maintain an updated quotation/tender pipeline
• Work closely with the Business Development and QS teams to assess, prioritise, and pursue suitable tender opportunities
• Prepare and submit Material Purchase Requisitions through the ERP system
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Procurement teams to ensure purchases are aligned with approved budgets, project requirements, and schedules
• Liaise with insurance companies on project coverage requirements and procurement-related matters where necessary
• Monitor and document design changes, scope variations, and Variation Orders (VOs) throughout the project
• Work closely with Project Managers to monitor project progress and prepare progress claims and billing in accordance with contractual terms
• Support project close-out by ensuring all works and Variation Orders are properly completed, documented, and billed

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Singapore renovation and interior fit-out projects (Junior Quantity Surveyor) or minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in Singapore renovation and interior fit-out projects (Senior Quantity Surveyor / Contract Manager)
• Experience in interior design (ID) and joinery works is highly preferred
• Minimum GCE 'N' / 'O' Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Good technical understanding of joinery detailing, renovation, and interior fit-out works in Singapore is an advantage
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage
