Transglobe Interior Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project budgets, cost estimates, tendering, procurement, and contract administration for construction or interior fit-out works in Brazil. You will monitor spend, produce regular cost reports, and safeguard value for the client.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, 3–5 years of QS experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent negotiation, analytical and communication abilities.

Qualificações

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant QS experience.
• Experience in construction, renovation or interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of costing, tendering, procurement and contract administration.
• Good negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Job Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects by managing all aspects of cost management. This role involves preparing and managing project budgets, conducting cost analysis, negotiating contracts, and monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow projections.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and risk assessments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. (Such as three quote practice)
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
• Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the project.
• Monitor project progress and expenditures, providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Manage change orders and variations, ensuring they are properly documented and approved.
• Collaborate with project managers and procurement team to resolve cost-related issues and discrepancies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the quantity surveying team.
