Private Advertiser in Brazil seeks a Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender quotations, budgets, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

You will review drawings, source suppliers, negotiate prices, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure commercial success.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in construction costing, tender pricing, and take-off.
• Experience with steel structure and building trades is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and cost calculations.
• Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare tender quotations, including quantity take-offs, sourcing, and cost estimation.
• Prepare budgets and monitor cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, BQ, and contract docs.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.

Job Description

• Prepare tender quotations, including quantity take-offs, material and subcontractor sourcing, and cost estimation.

• Prepare project budgets and monitor budget performance and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review and interpret tender drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and contract documents.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

• Analyse and negotiate costs for tender BQ preparation, post-tender budgeting, and ongoing cost control during the construction period.

• Prepare and submit progress claims and final accounts for clients and subcontractors.

• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and other project documentation.

• Prepare variation orders, purchase orders, and other commercial documentation as required.

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial and costing matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil/Structural Engineering, BIM, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore or Malaysia.

• Experience in construction costing, tender pricing, and quantity take-off.

• Familiarity with steel structure and building construction works.

• Good understanding of construction trades and practical aspects of architectural and steel fabrication/joinery works will be an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in formulas, data analysis, and cost calculations.

• Strong experience in costing, pricing, and cost analysis.

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines simultaneously.

• Good communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
