Total Food Services Co. is seeking a Production Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee all production operations, ensuring products are manufactured safely and efficiently in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000.
You will lead supervisors, align production with sales forecasts, manage procurement coordination, and optimize processes while maintaining high housekeeping and strong quality standards across the facility.
About the role
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards. The role includes managing production schedules, procurement coordination, quality control, manpower planning, and continuous process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while maximising production efficiency.
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production supplies.
Monitor inventory levels to minimise shortages and reduce excess stock.
Ensure all products comply with company quality standards, food safety regulations, and customer specifications.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to maintain GMP, HACCP, SFA, and other regulatory requirements.
Lead, supervise, and motivate Production Supervisors and production staff to achieve departmental objectives.
Monitor daily production activities to ensure productivity, efficiency, and product quality targets are achieved.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production facility in accordance with GMP and 5S practices.
About you
Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, inventory control, quality management, and food safety systems.
Good understanding of SFA regulations, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food manufacturing compliance requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
