Job Title: General PCP (Production Planning and Control) Coordinator
Job Summary:
The General PCP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all production planning and control activities to ensure efficient operations, optimal resource utilization, and on-time delivery. This role acts as a key link between production, supply chain, procurement, and logistics, ensuring alignment between demand and manufacturing capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor production plans based on demand forecasts and customer orders
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components
- Manage production scheduling to optimize capacity, reduce downtime, and improve productivity
- Monitor production performance and adjust plans as necessary to meet delivery deadlines
- Analyze KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory turnover, adherence to plan) and drive continuous improvement actions
- Ensure alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies
- Identify risks in the supply chain or production flow and propose mitigation plans
- Lead and develop the PCP team, ensuring adherence to processes and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Logistics, Sales, Finance) to ensure integrated planning
- Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- English proficiency (advanced level preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S&OP and demand planning processes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
