Jobtailor is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to perform technical service across customer locations in the Patos de Minas region. The role requires installation, configuration, and preventive maintenance of multifunction printers and related devices, with travel to client sites within a ~200 km radius.

The candidate should have IT-related technical education, field service experience, and strong fault diagnosis skills, plus a valid CNH B license and willingness to travel daily

Qualificações

Completed technical education in IT, Technology, or related fields.
Experience in field technical support.
Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, IT, and networking fundamentals.
Experience providing on-site user support.
Knowledge of diagnosing and resolving hardware and/or system failures.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience preparing technical reports and service orders.
Good communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relationship abilities.

Responsabilidades

Perform on-site technical service at customer locations.
Execute corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, configuration, and relocation of multifunction printers and devices from various manufacturers.
Provide general PC/microcomputer support and Remote Hands support when required.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and system faults.
Ensure compliance with SLAs for ticket response and resolution.
Update the status of service calls with the team responsible for ticket management.
Record activities, technical reports, and customer validation.

• Perform on-site technical service, traveling to customer locations
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, configuration, and relocation of multifunction printers and devices from various manufacturers
• Provide general PC/microcomputer support and Remote Hands support when required
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and system faults
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) for ticket response and resolution
• Update the status of service calls with the team responsible for ticket management
• Record performed activities, technical reports, photographic evidence, and customer validation
• Control, inventory, and manage spare parts, backup equipment, and materials under your responsibility
• Request part replacements, perform reverse logistics, and follow up on equipment repairs
• Escalate to N3 (Tier 3) support teams, providing technical evidence
• Participate in technical training provided by the company
• Operate according to SONDA’s safety standards, operational procedures, and internal policies

Requirements

Completed technical education in IT, Technology, or related fields
Experience in field technical support
Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of equipment
Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, IT, and networking fundamentals
Experience providing on-site user support
Knowledge of diagnosing and resolving hardware and/or system failures
Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical documentation
Experience preparing technical reports and service orders
Good communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relationship abilities
Valid definitive Brazilian driver’s license (CNH) category B or higher (required)
Availability for frequent travel and trips (required)
Must reside in the service area or be available for frequent travel
Availability for daily travel, averaging 250 km per service call
Service area approximately within a 200 km radius from Patos de Minas
