Jobtailor is seeking a field IT technician to maintain and support desktop, laptop, and server hardware, and to service Zebra thermal printers, on-site at client locations in Rio de Janeiro.

You will work daytime 12x36 shifts with on-call duties, requiring a valid driver's license and a personal car, and reside within about 10 km of downtown Rio. Proficiency with Windows 10 and basic networks is essential.

Qualificações

• Technical high school diploma in IT or related field.
• Higher education in Technology preferred or in progress.
• Valid driver’s license and personal car for travel (motorcycles not accepted).
• Minimum home workspace of 1.5 m² for storing parts and equipment.
• Willingness to work a 12x36 daytime shift with possible on-call duties.
• Residence in or near downtown Rio de Janeiro (preferably within 10 km).
• Experience in field service, preferably in retail or commercial automation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and support of desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Service and repair of thermal printers, including Zebra models.
• Diagnose client‑server network issues and basic routing/switching tasks.
• Provide on‑site end‑user support (field service).
• Manage parts inventory and backups; meet SLA expectations.

• Maintenance and support of microcomputer hardware and software: desktops, laptops, servers.
• Experience servicing thermal printers, including Zebra models.
• Proficiency with Windows 10, system formatting/image deployment, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of client‑server networks, structured cabling for organization, diagnosis, and maintenance; basic knowledge of routers and switches for remote‑hands tasks.
• Experience providing on‑site end‑user support (field service).
• Field experience, preferably in retail or commercial automation environments.
• Familiarity with service routines aimed at meeting SLAs.
• Ability to manage a kit/parts inventory and backups.

Requirements

• Minimum: completed technical high school diploma in IT or related fields.
• Higher education in Technology preferred or in progress.
• Valid driver's license and personal car for travel (mileage reimbursed); motorcycles are not accepted.
• Minimum physical space of 1.5 m² at home for storing parts and equipment.
• Availability to work a 12x36 daytime shift schedule with possible on‑call duties outside regular hours.
• Reside in or near downtown Rio de Janeiro (preferably within a 10 km radius).
