TCS is looking for a Network Data Engineer to support enterprise and data center network infrastructure, ensuring the availability, performance, security, and optimization of LAN/WAN environments. The professional will act as a technical interface between infrastructure, security, operations, and business teams, supporting network architecture, troubleshooting, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure environments.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus switches and enterprise routing/switching platforms.
• Manage and troubleshoot MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Configure and support OSPF, BGP, and Multicast routing protocols.
• Administer Cisco ASA firewalls, IPS/IDS, and network security solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure business continuity.
• Support data centre network environments, including FCoE, Fibre Channel (FC), and Cisco MDS 9000 platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network incidents and problems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrated substantial experience in network infrastructure and administration, with the depth of expertise required to independently support complex enterprise and data center network environments.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Network Infrastructure and Administration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center or CCNP Enterprise (Route & Switch) certification.
• Solid knowledge in:

o LAN/WAN Routing and Switching

o Cisco Nexus Switching Platform

o MPLS and SD-WAN Technologies

o OSPF, BGP, and Multicast Routing Protocols

o VPN and IPS/IDS Security Solutions

o Cisco 2900, 3800, 3900, and 4500 Series Devices

o Fibre Channel (FC) and FCoE

o Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting

o Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

o Technical Documentation and Architecture Design

o Technical English
