TNS has an excellent opportunity for a Sr Network Engineer! This role reports in to our Global Network Infrastructure Engineering Department and you will be responsible for providing leadership to a system-wide/cross functional team. Planning integration and implementation of new technology and guiding/contributing to the direction of multiple projects.
High level of influence on customer/user groups and teams Responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems for one or more projects Develop/improve strategic processes and direction for projects Improve strategic processes and direction for projects Transfer knowledge of technical skills Engineering, deployment, and support of the TNS Global IP backbone network Delivery of Ethernet based services, as defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum Routing protocol design and support (BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, OSPF, PIM) WAN/LAN topology design and support MPLS design and support Data Center design and support Load Balancer design and support Vendor/hardware assessment and recommendations Equipment/Design specifications in support of budgetary planning Technical leadership and end-to-end process ownership
