A leading global IT services company in São Paulo is looking for a Network Perimeter Security Engineer. In this role, you will manage firewalls and ensure network security, while troubleshooting and optimizing firewall capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a major organization and hold relevant certifications. Qualificações

Minimum 5-6 years supporting Firewalls, IPS, and Proxies in a global organization.
Industry accredited certification necessary.
Expertise in managing Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer.

We are looking for Network Perimeter Security Engineer who wants to learn and transform his career.

Mandatory Skills (3 to max 5):

At least 5-6 years of supporting Firewalls, IPS and Proxies in a major global organization.
Proven technical operational skills, and capability to create and validate well-structured answers and solutions in area of responsibility.
Deep knowledge of: Firewalls: Palo Alto or Fortinet, Bluecoat, Cisco ACS/ISE
Advanced working knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, HTTP, routing, firewalls, VLANs‚ and subnets.
Relevant concepts of ITIL and Project Management.
Industry accredited certification. Willingness to continually acquire and maintain the technical skills appropriate to the requirements of this position.
Assist Customer with firewall operational and troubleshooting tasks.
Should have strong expertise in managing and optimizing Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer.
This includes configuring and maintaining Forti Manager for centralized policy and device management, as well as utilizing Forti Analyzer for log analysis, threat detection, and compliance reporting to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
Assist Customer with account migration tasks providing a secure network connectivity.
Implement and deliver basic code solutions to improve firewall capabilities.
Assist End customers with technical support and help to provide secure connectivity over the Cloud and On-premises environment.
Industry accredited certification.
Willingness to continually acquire and maintain the technical skills appropriate to the requirements of this position

Key Responsibilities:

Proven technical operational skills, and capability to create and validate well-structured answers and solutions in area of responsibility
Troubleshoot, and update security infrastructure supporting migrations, configurations.
Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Palo Alto, Fortinet & Cisco Firewalls, which include network and/or resource access, software, or hardware problems
Firewall policy (rule-base) optimization and housekeeping
Prepare RCA, diagram of network topologies and troubleshooting process
Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, associates, vendors, and management
Collaborating with other security teams
Review and advise on identified security gaps or concerns pertaining to new infrastructure, applications, and services
Provide documentation, training, and support for the transfer to operations of security solutions
