Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an Application Specialist – AppBank to provide technical and functional support for business-critical applications in an onsite role in São Paulo. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure stability and availability of core systems.

The role requires five+ years in application support or SRE, strong SQL and Java skills, AWS knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in application support, software development, SRE, or a similar enterprise setting.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Java or another structured/object-oriented language.
• Understanding of ETL, batch processing, scheduling, dependencies, and capacity management.
• Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience in financial services industry.
• Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, or Conflicts-related processes.
• Exposure to Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, or other distributed-processing platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL, SRE, production controls, and service governance.
• Experience with AI-assisted operations, anomaly detection, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Use approved AI-assisted tools responsibly for troubleshooting, scripting, documentation, and incident analysis.
