Dijital Team Pty is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to deliver Cisco-based network projects, provide customer support, and troubleshoot across Meraki and Catalyst environments. The role offers growth in design, automation, and AI-assisted workflows while ensuring strong customer outcomes.

You will manage incident resolution, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to documentation and operational improvements in a remote-friendly MSP setting.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network support roles.
Previous experience in an Australian MSP environment.
Deep networking knowledge across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Catalyst solutions.
Experience designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting network solutions across customer environments.
CCNA certification.
Ability to work autonomously and own technical issues with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Deliver network and security projects across Cisco portfolio, including Meraki and Catalyst.
Design, implement, and support routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security solutions.
Monitor queues and manage incidents through resolution.
Troubleshoot customer networks and provide BAU support.
Build trusted customer relationships through clear communication.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation and standards.
Contribute to automation and AI initiatives, including APIs and tooling.
Develop reusable troubleshooting and operational documentation.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to join a growing engineering team, delivering network projects, customer support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across modern Cisco environments.

You will work across customer environments of varying size and complexity, taking ownership of technical issues, support queues, project activities, customer communication, and documentation. The role provides strong opportunities to expand your capabilities across solution design, network automation, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging Cisco technologies.

Success in the role will be reflected through strong customer outcomes, effective ticket and project management, clear communication, independent ownership, and contributions to automation and operational improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network support roles.
Previous experience working within an Australian MSP environment.
Strong networking knowledge across routing and switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, particularly Cisco Meraki and Catalyst solutions.
Experience designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting network solutions across customer environments.
CCNA certification.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take ownership of technical issues, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

CCNP certification or equivalent.
Cisco certifications such as DevNet Associate or other relevant certifications.
Experience with network automation technologies such as Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Terraform, or Git.
Exposure to AI tools and AI-assisted technical workflows.
Experience with voice networking technologies.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and automation-first operational models.

Contribute to customer satisfaction, effective project delivery, operational improvements, automation initiatives, and broader team capability uplift.
