Overview

B2B Travel is a key vertical within Mastercard’s Corporate Solutions strategy, encompassing payment flows between online travel agencies (OTAs) and airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and other travel ecosystem participants. This role will focus on strengthening relationships with issuing partners, supporting the successful implementation of travel-related products, and enabling the growth of transaction volumes in this segment. The Manager will also work to identify and unlock opportunities to expand use cases, ensuring Mastercard’s solutions bring value to all stakeholders in the travel payments chain.

Role
  • Lead engagement with issuing partners to ensure successful product implementation, activation, and performance in the B2B travel segment.
  • Provide strategic and operational support to issuers and acquirers to help grow transaction volumes and address market needs.
  • Facilitate collaboration between issuers, acquirers and travel ecosystem players, including OTAs, airlines, hotels, and other relevant partners.
  • Identify and address barriers to adoption, ensuring products are competitive and aligned with industry requirements.
  • Influence the development of new use cases and product enhancements tailored to the travel industry.
  • Represent Mastercard in discussions with travel ecosystem stakeholders, promoting our capabilities and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as Products, Sales, and Customer Delivery, to align execution.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain a differentiated value proposition.
All About You
  • Have deep experience in B2B payments, travel industry payments, or commercial card solutions, with strong knowledge of travel ecosystem operations.
  • Demonstrate proven relationship management skills, particularly in engaging with issuers and large ecosystem partners.
  • Understand the commercial, operational, and economic factors that influence adoption in the travel payments space.
  • Be comfortable leading discussions with senior stakeholders, aligning interests, and driving initiatives to completion.
  • Have a track record of supporting product implementation and fostering adoption across multiple stakeholders.
  • Be strategic and analytical, capable of identifying market opportunities and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Communicate effectively in Portuguese and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree; additional specialization in business, travel, or related fields is desirable.
