Job summary

Skills Development Academy invites individuals to join as Learning Ambassadors (Course Consultants). You will engage with prospective, current and alumni learners through face-to-face consultations and classroom engagement, guiding them from consultation through enrolment and beyond.

You’ll assess learner goals and recommend suitable courses and pathways, while maintaining records and nurturing relationships to drive long-term engagement and learner success.

Learning Ambassador (Course Consultant)

Location: Tiong Bahru (Central Plaza) / Woodlands (WoodSquare)

Working Days: 5-day work week, including weekends (rostered)

Are you someone who enjoys speaking with people, understanding their goals, and helping them make better decisions for their future?

Skills Development Academy (SDA) is looking for Learning Ambassadors (Course Consultants) to engage and support learners throughout their learning journey.

This is a consultative sales and learner engagement role where you will build relationships with prospective, current, and alumni learners, understand their career and development goals, and recommend suitable courses and learning pathways.

Rather than simply selling a course, you'll help learners understand their options, identify programmes relevant to their needs, and support them from consultation through enrolment and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage prospective, current, and alumni learners through face-to-face consultations, classroom engagement and outbound calls.

• Understand each learner's career aspirations, learning needs and personal development goals.

• Recommend suitable courses, certifications and learning pathways based on individual needs.

• Conduct consultative conversations and confidently explain programme benefits and learning outcomes.

• Guide interested learners through the consultation and enrolment process.

• Follow up with prospective learners and maintain relationships throughout their decision-making journey.

• Re-engage existing and alumni learners to identify relevant opportunities for continued learning and upskilling.

• Build long-term relationships and encourage learners to continue developing their skills.

• Work closely with trainers and operations teams to provide a positive learner experience.

• Gather learner feedback and contribute ideas to improve engagement and service quality.

• Maintain accurate learner records and follow-up activities.

• Work towards individual enrolment, conversion and learner engagement targets.
