Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) seeks a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee finance and accounting in a manufacturing setting. You will lead a team, manage month-/year-end closes, and drive cost control and process improvements across inventory and product costing.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, liaise with external stakeholders, and partner with operations to enhance profitability. Mandarin proficiency is required; Japanese is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
• Proven Finance Manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and manufacturing finance.
• Experience leading a finance team while maintaining a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Japanese language proficiency will be an added advantage to support communication with Japan HQ.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team while remaining hands-on in day-to-day operations.
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the manufacturing business.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of management and statutory reports.
• Handle inventory accounting, inventory controls, stock reconciliations, and stock valuation.
• Manage product costing, standard costing, BOM costing, cost analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
• Partner with operations and production teams to support business decisions and performance improvement initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve finance operations.
