PERSOL is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in the North region of Brazil. You will partner with senior management to enhance profitability, drive cost optimization, and ensure strong internal controls across accounting functions including AP, AR, and GL.

You will lead product costing initiatives, develop financial models for strategic planning, oversee budgeting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax filings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and team management abilities.
• High level of confidentiality, proactive approach, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support the complete accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

• Analyze key cost drivers such as materials, labor, and overhead absorption to identify reduction opportunities.
• Develop financial models to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee the bi-annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align objectives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating audits and tax filings.
• Manage cash flow and implement strategies to optimize banking relationships and returns on surplus funds.
