Manuport Logistics (MPL) is seeking a hands-on Finance Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the assigned Business Unit within Manuport Logistics Americas. You will ensure accurate reporting, monitor performance against budgets, and collaborate with operations to align financial goals with business activities.

The role requires strong IFRS knowledge, taxation understanding, and leadership in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Applied Economic Sciences or equivalent through relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting within an international context.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, consolidation, financing structures, IFRS, reporting standards, working capital management, taxation, tax structuring, internal controls, and company valuation methodologies.
• Proficient in accounting and reporting systems, with strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy.
• Demonstrated interest in digital transformation and process automation within the finance function.
• Previous experience in team leadership or people management is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively with international and multicultural teams.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the assigned Business Unit within Manuport Logistics Americas.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting on both a monthly and annual basis.
• Monitor and analyze business performance, comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure full compliance with all legal, tax, accounting, and audit requirements as defined by local regulatory and tax authorities.
• Supervise accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Collaborate effectively with operations and commercial teams to align financial goals with business activities.
• Manage and follow up on overdue accounts and commercial receivables, ensuring proactive collection efforts.
• Provide weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports and develop action plans to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Proactively monitor financial performance, including cash flow management and customer payments.
• Guarantee proper classification of all expenses and revenues in the correct general ledger accounts.
