Jobtailor is seeking a Materials Planner to plan and optimize material inputs, forecast arrivals, and ensure inventory availability for timely order fulfillment. You will collaborate with procurement and operations to minimize costs while meeting service levels across multiple warehouses.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong Excel skills. English and Spanish basics are required, with a focus on sustainable practices and IMS improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Plan materials to replenish inventory and meet business needs at lowest cost.
• Plan material requirements to meet service levels using demand forecasting and Excel reports.
• Provide material arrival forecasts so dependent departments can plan accordingly.
• Monitor material deliveries and inventory using Excel spreadsheets.
• Develop and analyze performance indicators for area management.
• Manage supplier orders and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Own a defined portion of a project with autonomy to propose innovations.
• Apply sustainable practices and improve IMS performance.

Plan materials (inputs) to replenish inventory and meet business needs, maintaining material availability for immediate order fulfillment at the lowest possible cost
Plan the company’s material requirements to meet the defined service level, using inventory policies, demand forecasting methods, system reports, systems, and Excel spreadsheets
Provide material arrival forecasts so dependent departments can plan accordingly, using tracking spreadsheets
Monitor material deliveries to the company’s warehouses and provide accurate information through Excel spreadsheets
Monitor inventory quantities and identify abnormal situations using Excel spreadsheets
Develop and analyze performance indicators for area management
Manage supplier orders and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Take responsibility for a defined portion of a project or process, with autonomy to propose innovations within established parameters
Understand the environmental aspects and impacts related to activities, apply the company’s established sustainable practices, and suggest improvements to IMS performance
