RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking an Associate Engineer to support production planning, scheduling, and optimisation within our manufacturing operations. This full-time role focuses on improving efficiency and reducing costs through data-driven scheduling and process enhancements.

You will collaborate with operations, quality, and maintenance teams, maintain schedules, and generate performance reports while developing your engineering expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain production schedules and planning documentation.
• Support optimisation of production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collect and analyse production data to identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare reports detailing production performance metrics.
• Support implementation of process improvements and new scheduling methodologies.
• Coordinate with operations, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to resolution strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and scheduling changes; assist senior engineers on special projects.

About the role

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing and logistics operations. As an Associate Engineer, you will support production planning, scheduling, and optimisation activities, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our operations. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects whilst developing your engineering expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the development and maintenance of production schedules and planning documentation
• Support the optimisation of production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collect and analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards
• Prepare reports and documentation detailing production performance metrics and recommendations
• Support the implementation of process improvements and new scheduling methodologies
• Liaise with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and maintenance departments
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and contributing to resolution strategies
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and scheduling changesSupport senior engineers with special projects and ad hoc manufacturing initiatives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related discipline) or equivalent professional qualification
• 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred
