STATS CHIPPAC MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Diploma‑educated engineer to support the production line with process buy‑off, lot disposition, and on‑line troubleshooting. You will assist with OCAP execution and documentation, ensuring conformance to procedures.

Responsibilities include supporting PE in NPI activities, process improvements, and DOE, with a focus on line health KPI and quality systems to optimize manufacturing performance.

Qualificações

• Diploma in Microelectronics, Mechanical, Material or Physics Engineering.
• Knowledge of WLCSP backend processes including Taping, Backgrind, Laser Mark, LG, Saw and Tape and Reel.
• Knowledge of JMP, 8D, FMEA and DOE methodologies will be advantageous.
• Independent self-starter with drive to meet operation goals.
• High level of commitment and passion.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth production line by providing Engineering support in process buy-off, lot disposition, troubleshooting and containment, and OCAP conformity.
• Ensure correct line execution per procedure and OCAP.
• Ensure passdown and follow-through of issues from shift to shift.
• Provide feedback to PE for clear documentation.
• Support PE for NPI activities, process improvement, DOE, and cost reduction initiatives.

About the role

Support production line in terms of process buy-off, lot disposition, 1st hand issue trouble shooting and root cause investigation, recipe creation and optimization. Engineering support for new product introduction, recipe or process qualification, recipe development and process improvement through DOE, margin evaluation, etc. Support documentation for procedure, specification, OCAP, investigation report, etc, after necessary training. Support Process Engineer in monitoring SPC performance and line health KPI. Ensure the line complies with quality procedures / system set-up.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth production line by providing good Engineering support in terms of process buy-off, lot disposition, issue trouble shooting and containment, execute effective OCAP and ensure conformance to procedure
• Ensure correct line execution as per procedure and OCAP
• Ensure proper passdown and follow through of issue / executions from shift to shift
• Provide feedback to PE to ensure clear and precise documentation
• Provide support for PE to support NPI activities, process improvement and optimization, DOE, cost reduction activities, etc

About you

• Diploma in Microelectronics, Mechanical, Material or Physics Engineering
• Knowledge and experience in WLCSP backend processes; Taping, Backgrind, Laser Mark, LG, Saw and Tape and Reel
• Knowledge in JMP, 8D, FMEA and DOE methodologies will be advantageous
