Job summary

Expeditors in Bahrain is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth freight process flow, accurate data entry, and timely tracking of shipments. You will interact with customers to arrange shipments and support billing processes.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with ocean documentation. Hazardous materials certification is a plus. Reporting to Customer Retention and Development Manager.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening and clear communication.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers in arranging shipments to meet service standards.
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance at all times.
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests.
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy.
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs.
