Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Senior District Sales Executive to drive new customer revenue across an assigned territory. The role requires regular off-site client meetings, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams to design and present cost-effective logistics solutions.

The successful candidate will develop relationships, demonstrate urgency to achieve goals, and contribute to AR processes when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field Sales within Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
• Ability to meet with customers off-site regularly.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team.
• Demonstrates urgency to hit goals.
• Self-motivated in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Comfortable with regular laptop data entry.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Able to influence others to action.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory and know potential customers and competitors.
• Regular CRM data entry and upkeep.
• Coordinate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and KM resources.
• Develop value-added logistics solutions and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Assist in onboarding new accounts and handle AR when needed.
• Attend training to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
• Participate in local trade groups as directed by leadership.
• Take on additional duties to support company needs.
