Job summary

Union in Manama, Bahrain is hiring a Project Quantity Surveyor for an on-site role. The position requires 3–7 years of relevant experience and a strong background in BOQs, cost estimation, and value management across villa, residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.

You will review drawings, monitor costs against budgets, prepare valuations and final accounts, and coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure financial control and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
3–7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying on construction projects.
Proficiency in reading drawings, BOQ, and cost control.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.

Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost plans.
Review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
Monitor budgets, materials quantities, and wastage.
Prepare interim valuations and progress claims.
Coordinate with Project Managers, procurement teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintain records of costs, variations, contracts, and documentation.
Assist with tendering, procurement, and commercial evaluations.
