Job summary

Mars Europe is seeking an experienced Human Resources and Organization leader to partner with the GM and regional leadership on people strategy, organization design, and change initiatives. The role requires delivering a cohesive Europe-wide people agenda while balancing local market complexities and works council considerations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of progressive P&O and/or leadership experience.
• Line management experience.
• Demonstrated capability in deploying all dimensions of people and organisation strategies, policies and legal requirements.
• Experience of driving change at scale.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills; able to influence and establish credibility with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Experience of shaping and deploying strategies, fully embedding them locally so they sustain.
• Strong communicator, articulate and to the point whilst also able to inspire large groups behind a compelling vision.
• Able to work with diverse teams in diverse locations, engaging their input and commitment to success.
• Proven experience leading people strategy across a multi-country cluster or similarly complex matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic thought partner to the GM and Cluster Leadership Team on people implications of business choices.
• Lead selected European people priority projects.
• Shape the European P&O Strategy with unit and local insights and translate into priorities and roadmaps.
• Govern headcount investments with leadership teams and ensure fit-for-purpose organizational design.
• Drive change management and organizational culture initiatives in the West Europe cluster.
• Partner with Works Council across the Netherlands for transformation initiatives.
• Coach and develop line managers to support Associates and enable a learning culture.
• Drive succession planning, talent development, workforce planning and leadership development.
• Lead and develop the WE P&O team and create a growth-minded, resilient culture.
