Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a dynamic international retailer in Belgium to recruit a senior leader for People & Culture. You will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy covering talent acquisition, development, succession, retention, and engagement.

In collaboration with recruitment teams, you will strengthen employer branding, advance learning and development, drive change management, and lead the People team to deliver measurable impact on performance and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a strategic HR leadership role.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in at least two of the following languages: French, Dutch, and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive People & Culture strategy spanning talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, retention, and engagement.
• Partner with recruitment teams to anticipate workforce needs and strengthen employer branding.
• Promote a strong organizational culture and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and well-being.
• Drive learning strategies and support employees and managers in achieving their potential.
• Support organizational transformation projects and align business priorities with people initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the People team to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Track HR metrics, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven actions to improve performance and experience.
