Job summary

Ariad, a Belgian digital consultancy, is looking for a hands-on UX Writer to sharpen copy across their client's digital products. You’ll focus on microcopy, CTAs, forms and onboarding journeys, ensuring clarity and a user-centered approach.

You’ll collaborate with designers, product owners and developers, challenge requirements when necessary, and bring an AI-aware perspective to evolving digital experiences. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Solid, hands-on experience in UX writing and microcopy for digital products.
• A user-centric mindset with understanding of screen context and core UX principles.
• Strong interest in AI and Conversational AI and how they reshape digital experiences.
• Autonomy: you organise your own work, set priorities and move forward independently.
• Structured thinking: you can clearly explain the why behind every word.
• Comfortable working in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
• Genuine motivation for UX writing and large-scale digital products.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimise microcopy across digital channels (web & app).
• Review existing user journeys and identify concrete opportunities to improve clarity and usability.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners and developers to ensure copy fits the screen, context and user needs.
• Challenge requirements and propose better alternatives when something doesn’t serve the user.
• Present structured, actionable recommendations, always explaining the reasoning behind copy choices.
• Help ensure consistency in tone of voice across the digital experience.
• Bring an AI-aware perspective to the product: think about copy evolution in AI-powered and conversational experiences.
