Job summary

Spring Professional Belgium is seeking a Senior UX Copywriter fluent in Dutch and English to shape the future of our digital customer experiences. You will own content initiatives from discovery to delivery across websites, apps, portals and AI-powered experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Service Designers, UX/UI Designers, Researchers, Product Owners and developers to ensure clear, accessible, and trustworthy interactions. French is a plus and duration is 9–12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX Writing, Content Design, Content Strategy or a related field.
• Excellent Dutch and English writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design teams and complex digital products or services.
• Understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, accessibility and inclusive communication.
• Familiar with content design systems and content governance.
• Proficient with Figma, Jira, Confluence and Excel.

We’re looking for a Senior UX Copywriter fluent in Dutch and English to help shape the future of our digital customer experiences.

As part of the Digital Team, you’ll make it easier for customers to understand their options, complete their tasks and make confident decisions across our websites, apps, customer portals and AI-powered experiences.

You’ll take ownership of content initiatives from discovery to delivery, working closely with Service Designers, UX/UI Designers, UX Researchers, Product Owners, Developers and business stakeholders.

Your mission? Make every interaction clear, consistent, accessible and trustworthy.

What you’ll do:

Create content that works

• Write and optimize UX copy in Dutch and English for digital journeys, self-service flows and AI-powered experiences.
• Turn complex business and technical information into simple, actionable language.
• Craft thoughtful content for error messages, empty states and complex customer scenarios.
• Improve existing content using customer feedback, analytics and usability testing.

Champion content quality and consistency

• Develop and maintain content guidelines, terminology, tone of voice and reusable content patterns.
• Ensure content meets accessibility, plain language and inclusive communication principles.
• Act as the quality gate for customer-facing content.
• Identify content gaps, challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement.

Bring teams together

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to connect business objectives with customer needs.
• Partner with the French UX Copywriter to align content standards and deliver a coherent multilingual experience.
• Promote content design best practices and help evolve the way teams work together.

What makes you a great fit?

• You have at least 5 years of experience in UX Writing, Content Design, Content Strategy or a related field.
• You have excellent Dutch and English writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• You’re experienced in multidisciplinary design teams and complex digital products or services.
• You understand user-centred design, information architecture, accessibility and inclusive communication.
• You’re familiar with content design systems and content governance.
• You’re comfortable working with Figma, Jira, Confluence and Excel.
• You’re proactive, autonomous and detail-oriented — and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo when it leads to a better customer experience.

French is a plus. Experience with conversational AI, AI-assisted content creation and emerging digital tools is a strong advantage.

Duration: 9–12 months, with a possible extension
