Yazaki Europe Ltd. Belgium Office in Genk seeks a Traffic Clerk to manage transport orders, shipments, and related documentation across the logistics network.

You will coordinate with carriers, consolidate data in ERP, and support customs and import/export processes. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in logistics or related field with at least two years of logistics experience, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and familiarity with SAP or ERP systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, customs, or supply chain ops.
• Experience with international shipments is an advantage.
• Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills; familiarity with SAP or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of import/export docs and customs procedures.

• Maintain shipment records in relevant systems.
• Coordinate arrival and departure times with stakeholders and yard systems.
• Validate invoices and register in database.
• Communicate shipment requirements and documents with carriers.
• Inform customers about delivery schedules and updates.
• Prepare shipping documentation (waybills, delivery notes, invoices, customs docs).
• Insert shipment data in ERP for ASN and PoD support.
• Manage PR/PO in Coupa for sourced services and payments.
• Perform transport RFQ in bidding portals for emergencies.
• Maintain logistics and customs records; monitor statuses and resolve issues.
• Support process improvements in transportation and logistics.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Traffic Clerk to join our Offices in Genk.

What will you do:

• Book transport orders, monitor and follow up progress (ETA) of in & outgoing shipments.
• Maintain shipment and transportation records in relevant systems.
• Coordinate and communicate arrival & departure times of shipments with internal stakeholders and Yard management systems.
• Validate transportation & customs service invoices, and register in database.
• Communicate shipment requirements & documents with carriers and logistics partners.
• Inform customers and stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and shipment updates.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including:
• Waybills
• Delivery notes
• Invoices
• Customs documents
• Certificates of origin and related export documentation
• Insert shipment data in ERP for ASN.
• Support in delivering documents for PoD.
• Manage PR/PO in Coupa for sourced services & payments.
• Perform transport RFQ in bidding portals for emergency / premium freights.
• Per alternating weekly/monthly pattern have 24/7 availability to support emergencies.
• Arrange transportation for returnable packaging materials
• Maintain accurate logistics and customs records.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation issues.
• Support continuous improvement of transportation and logistics processes.
• Plan shipments to maximize efficiency and optimize transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable customs regulations.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 yearts of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, customs, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working with international shipments is considered an advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and analyze shipment-related data.
• English proficiency required.
• French, German, and/or Dutch language skills are considered as advantage.
