Yazaki International Corporation in Belgium (Genk) is seeking a logistics specialist to manage transport orders, shipments, and documentation. You will coordinate with carriers and internal teams, maintain records in ERP systems, and ensure timely delivery while monitoring costs and compliance.

Proficiency in Excel and SAP is required, with English fluency and additional European languages a plus. The role involves 2+ years in logistics, a bachelor’s in a related field, and a readiness to work

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, customs, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with international shipments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• English proficiency required.
• French, German, and/or Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Book transport orders and monitor progress (ETA) of shipments.
• Maintain shipment and transportation records in relevant systems.
• Coordinate and communicate arrival & departure times of shipments with internal stakeholders and Yard management systems.
• Validate transportation & customs service invoices, and register in database.
• Communicate shipment requirements & documents with carriers and logistics partners.
• Inform customers and stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and shipment updates.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including: Waybills, Delivery notes, Invoices, Customs documents, Certificates of origin.
• Insert shipment data in ERP for ASN.
• Support in delivering documents for PoD.
• Manage PR/PO in Coupa for sourced services & payments.
• Perform transport RFQ in bidding portals for emergency / premium freights.
• Per alternating weekly/monthly pattern have 24/7 availability to support emergencies.
• Arrange transportation for returnable packaging materials
• Maintain accurate logistics and customs records.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve transportation issues.
• Support continuous improvement of transportation and logistics processes.
• Plan shipments to maximize efficiency and optimize transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable customs regulations.

What will you do:

• English proficiency required.
• French, German, and/or Dutch language skills are considered as advantage.
