Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Genk is seeking a Traffic Clerk to manage transport orders, documentation, and external communications. The role requires 2+ years in logistics and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Fluency in French/Dutch/German is a plus. You will ensure accurate records and timely shipments across international routes. The successful candidate will coordinate with carriers, maintain ERP data, and support continuous process improvements in transportation logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, customs, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with international shipments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Book transport orders, monitor and follow up progress (ETA) of shipments.
• Maintain shipment and transportation records in relevant systems.
• Coordinate arrival/departure times with internal stakeholders and yard systems.
• Validate invoices and register in database.
• Communicate shipment requirements and documents with carriers and partners.
• Inform customers and stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (waybills, delivery notes, invoices, customs docs).
• Enter shipment data in ERP for ASN.
• Manage PR/PO in Coupa for sourced services and payments.
• Handle transport RFQ for emergencies.
• Support 24/7 availability on alternating weekly/monthly pattern.
