Job summary

Fox ESS is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our after-sales team in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical engineering and strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities include handling hotline calls, troubleshooting inverter issues both remotely and on-site, and conducting on-site diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• 1+ year in a technical support or after-sales role.
• Ability to drive and travel for on-site support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication abilities.

• Troubleshoot issues related to inverters and other renewable energy products, remotely or on-site.

• Maintain clear records of customer interactions, service visits, and reports.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our after sales team in the renewable energy sector.

The ideal candidate should have a background in electrical engineering or experience in the related industry, with strong problem solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Handle inbound hotline calls and provide professional technical support to customers and installers.
• 2. Troubleshoot technical issues related to inverters and other renewable energy products, providing timely and effective solutions both remotely and on-site.
• 3. Conduct on-site interventions for diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and system commissioning when required.
• 4. Collaborate closely with the internal technical team to analyze, investigate, and resolve complex customer issues.
• 5. Maintain clear and accurate records of customer interactions, service visits, technical reports, and troubleshooting activities

Requirements:

• 1. Fluent in both Dutch and English communication skills.
• 2. 1+ year of experience in a similar technical support or after-sales role.
• 3. Ability to drive and willingness to travel for on-site support.
• 4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
