MSI Pharma in Belgium is seeking a senior Talent Liaison to lead employee relations, sickness management, reintegration and off-boarding across the country. This role acts as the subject-matter expert for complex HR matters, guiding workforce actions with a compliant, people-centered approach.

You will partner with business leaders, unions and external advisors, monitor Belgian labour legislation and drive HR process improvements and digital transformation within operations.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in HR with strong ER, sickness, and off-boarding expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of Belgian labour legislation.
• Experience managing disciplinary matters and grievances.
• Proven ability to negotiate exit packages.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.

Overview

We are partnered with a global biopharmaceutical organisation to identify an experienced Talent Liaison to lead employee relations, sickness management, reintegration and off-boarding activities across Belgium. This senior-level role will act as the subject matter expert for complex and sensitive HR matters, providing strategic guidance on employee relations, labour legislation, disability management and workforce transitions. Working closely with business leaders, Talent Partners, union representatives and external advisors, you will ensure a balanced, compliant and people-focused approach to employee lifecycle decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve sickness, reintegration, employee relations and off-boarding processes
• Manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances and conflict resolution
• Guide and support reintegration journeys for employees on long-term work incapacity
• Lead off-boarding activities, including dismissals, retirements, reorganisations, mutual agreements and misconduct cases
• Prepare and negotiate exit packages and related legal documentation
• Partner with business leaders, union representatives and external legal advisors on sensitive cases
• Monitor changes in Belgian labour legislation and ensure operational compliance
• Deliver reporting, insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Drive process improvement, automation and digital transformation initiatives within HR operations
• Design and deliver training on employee relations, reintegration and policy implementation

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of HR experience with strong expertise in employee relations, sickness management, disability and off-boarding
• Extensive knowledge of Belgian social and labour legislation
• Experience managing disciplinary matters, grievance cases and employee negotiations
• Proven experience preparing and negotiating exit packages
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business leadership and union environments
• Experience supporting or leading digital transformation initiatives within HR is highly desirable
• Experience handling highly sensitive and complex employment cases required

Qualifications
