Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking a Service Transition Manager for a multinational defence organisation near Brussels. You will ensure services are delivered on time, supportable and free of surprises.

You will shape transition strategy, guide programmes, check transitions in proposals, keep activities on schedule, build templates, support boards, and spot improvements. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or 6 years progressive experience, 2+ years in service management, ITIL and PRINCE2 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of progressive experience.
• At least 2 years in service management in a medium or large organisation.
• Solid service transition experience across industries.
• Experience advising on service management and service improvement techniques.
• Ability to assess risk and turn it into corrective and improvement plans.
• Clear writing and briefing for senior stakeholders.
• ITIL and PRINCE2 (or equivalent) certificates.

What you would be doing

• Keeping transition activities on schedule when delivery pressure builds
• Building templates and methods for planning and evaluating transitions

What you would bring

• A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of progressive experience instead
• At least 2 years in service management in a medium or large organisation
• Solid service transition experience, ideally across more than one industry
• Experience advising on service management and service improvement techniques
• The ability to assess risk and turn it into corrective and improvement plans
• Clear writing and briefing, including reporting to senior stakeholders
• ITIL and PRINCE2 (or an equivalent project management certificate)
