Pauwels Consulting is seeking a professional to join its digital workplace team in Brussels. The role focuses on delivering robust service management tools, implementing configurations, and continual improvements of critical software solutions.

You will advise business users on IT service management best practices, participate in end-to-end development, integrate tools into the wider landscape, and provide training on new functionalities.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable field.
• 3+ years of experience with Ivanti Service Manager.
• Experience in planning, development, and operation of software systems.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for tool customization and scripting.
• ItIL-based service management principles.
• Proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Collaborative team player able to work autonomously.
• Fluent in English.

This role focuses on delivering robust, user-friendly service management tools to empower internal support services. The project involves the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of critical software solutions.

• Implement functional and technical requirements through configuration and scripting within service management tools.
• Maintain and operate software systems while ensuring continuous improvements and software updates.
• Advise key business users on IT service management best practices and optimal tool utilization.
• Participate in end-to-end development activities, ranging from initial planning to final configuration.
• Integrate software solutions into the broader application and system landscape of the organization.
• Support the testing phase and provide training to end users for new tool functionalities.

• You possess a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
• You have 3+ years of experience with service management tools, specifically Ivanti Service Manager.
• You bring proven experience in the planning, development, and operation of software systems.
• You possess knowledge of JavaScript for tool customization and scripting.
• You have a solid understanding of ITIL-based service management principles.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• You are a collaborative team player who can also work autonomously.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with ServiceNow or Zendesk.
• Knowledge of MS SQL, SOAP, and REST API.
• Experience in IT operations management.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Good level of Dutch, French, or German.
