Senior Project Manager, BMS/PMS Construction

Job summary

Linesight in Belgium seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead BMS/PMS packages on large-scale construction programs. You will partner with the Project Manager to ensure schedule alignment, manage safety on site, and coordinate with MEP teams, automation experts, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

You will drive handover, assemble documentation, testing, commissioning reports, and establish strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Construction Manager on large-scale, complex projects (data centres, industrial, or high-tech buildings).
• Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or related field.
• Deep understanding of BMS/PMS and critical infrastructure systems.
• Experience managing specialist subcontractors and technology vendors in the BMS/PMS domain.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills with a track record delivering technical packages.
• Knowledge of full design and construction process from procurement through commissioning and handover.
• Proficiency with construction scheduling tools, cost tracking, and quality management processes.
• Ability to mobilize people and teams to deliver projects.
• Strong ability to build relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Project Manager to support overall schedule management and ensure integration of BMS/PMS within the construction program.
• Act as a visible safety leader onsite, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead the BMS/PMS construction package, ensuring timely delivery, integration, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with MEP teams, automation specialists, commissioning engineers, and external contractors.
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of BMS and PMS components.
• Work with QA, Commissioning, and EHS teams to maintain high standards of project execution and compliance.
• Manage and track costs including labour, materials, subcontractors, and variations.
• Monitor on-site progress and address quality, safety, or design deviations swiftly.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and vendors, tracking progress and resolving technical challenges.
• Drive the handover process with complete system documentation, testing, and commissioning reports.
