Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Experienced Project Engineer in Geel, Belgium. The Geel site is our largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the J&J supply chain. We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely and optimally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology or Engineering field is preferred.
• Independent, curious, and problem-solving attitude.
• Flexible to changing priorities and challenging timelines.
• Safety and quality are paramount.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical and fine chemical regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Acts as SME for API process equipment, providing technical leadership across design, procurement, commissioning and handover.
• Provides project leadership from inception to completion.
• Aligns with project sponsor and core/extended team to deliver objectives.
• Prepares project intake: scoping, business case, alternatives, option presentation for approval.
• Facilitates planning, tracking and reporting of key deliverables and objectives.
• Oversees project finances: budgeting and expense management.
• Uses risk management to identify and manage risks to objectives.
• Leads project close-out activities including handover, archiving, and lessons learned.
