Editx in Gent is seeking an IT support professional to provide both first-line and advanced technical support for laboratory workstations, instruments, and IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues to maintain uptime and reliability across laboratory systems.

You will lead technical initiatives, coordinate with global support teams and vendors, and assist with deployment, migration, and future IT solutions for laboratory environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line and advanced technical support for laboratory workstations, instruments, and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network-related issues to maintain operational uptime.
• Lead technical initiatives and coordinate with global support teams and vendors for system resolutions.
• Support the planning, deployment, and migration of new laboratory IT solutions and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Engage with laboratory users to translate business requirements into effective technical IT solutions.
