Job summary

EmpHire is seeking an experienced Expert Genesys Cloud Developer in Belgium to contribute to development, integration, and improvement of contact centre platforms. You will work across voice and digital channels, ensuring seamless integration between Genesys Cloud, internal systems, and external services.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions and may progress toward a Technical Lead role.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX.
• Experience with Genesys Platform APIs, Architect, and Data Actions.
• Background in contact centre, customer engagement, or telephony technologies.
• Exposure to cloud integration platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain solutions supporting customer engagement and contact centre platforms.
• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud and internal or external systems using REST APIs, web services, OAuth 2.0, and event-driven mechanisms.
• Configure and develop customer interaction flows, routing logic, automation, and platform integrations.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable, robust, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Integrate contact centre technologies with enterprise applications, CRM systems and other business-critical systems.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and recommend pragmatic implementation approaches.
• Assess feasibility, dependencies, risks, and impacts of proposed solutions.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Apply software engineering best practices for code quality, maintainability, reliability and performance.
• Support testing, release preparation, production support and monitoring.
