Job summary

EmpHire is seeking an experienced Cloud Developer to join a mature enterprise tech team in Brussels. You will design, develop, and enhance customer engagement solutions across voice and digital channels, focusing on Genesys Cloud CX integrations and secure, scalable architecture.

You will collaborate with architects, security specialists, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, with opportunities to grow into a Technical Lead role as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs and web services.
• Good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-to-enterprise integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, maintainability, and clean code.

Responsibilities

Join an established enterprise technology team responsible for developing and enhancing customer engagement solutions across voice and digital channels.

The organisation’s customer engagement ecosystem is built around Genesys Cloud CX, integrated with internal business applications and external services. As anCloud Developer, you will play a key role in developing, integrating, and evolving contact centre solutions that support critical business operations and customer interactions.

Working closely with architects, business stakeholders, security specialists, and project teams, you will help deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions. This position also offers the opportunity to develop your expertise and progressively grow into a Technical Lead role.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain solutions supporting customer engagement and contact centre platforms.


• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud and internal or external systems using REST APIs, web services, OAuth, and event-driven mechanisms.


• Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.


• Configure and develop customer interaction flows, routing logic, automation, and platform integrations.


• Investigate technical incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.


• Contribute to technical design discussions and recommend practical implementation approaches.


• Evaluate technical feasibility, dependencies, risks, and the potential impact of proposed changes.


• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, security specialists, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
