Job summary

EmpHire is seeking an experienced Cloud Developer to join a mature enterprise tech team in Brussels. You will design, develop, and enhance customer engagement solutions across voice and digital channels, focusing on Genesys Cloud CX integrations and secure, scalable architecture.

You will collaborate with architects, security specialists, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, with opportunities to grow into a Technical Lead role as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing integrations using REST APIs and web services.
• Good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud-to-enterprise integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, maintainability, and clean code.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, pragmatic, and quality-focused mindset.
• Fluency in French or Dutch with professional English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain customer engagement and contact centre solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between Genesys Cloud CX and internal/external systems using REST APIs and web services.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Configure and develop customer interaction flows, routing, automation, and platform integrations.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
• Participate in technical design discussions and advocate practical approaches.
• Assess feasibility, dependencies, risks, and impact of changes.
• Collaborate with architects, security specialists, PO, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure security, privacy, quality, and engineering standards are met.
• Support testing, release preparation, production stability, and monitoring.
• Keep updated on Genesys ecosystem developments and AI-enabled capabilities.
